Makita 18V LXT 5.0Ah Battery Kit – 2 Batteries, Charger & Protective Case
Let customers speak for us
from 438 reviewsI've been struggling with foot pumps and plug in 12v pumps for years and never thought to try an 18v cordless. This little thing is brilliant.
I blew the tyres up on my van from 20 psi to 45 psi in about 10 seconds. I'd consider buying a second to keep in my garage. Much better than cheaper alternatives, the quality is typical Makita. I've had a 5aH battery in and blown up multiple tyres with no indication of battery loss yet having used it for a few weeks.

Top quality product. It’s great to have as a lightweight pump which is easily available and portable

I have a Makita LTX compressor the big brother of this model. When I recently had a problem with one of my tyres I couldn’t not find my Makita DMP181 tyre compressor. The need for a device to help in my situation was to get a new compressor. With next day delivery I opted for the smaller model the DMP180. My problem was solved. Makita has , no doubt an extensive range of LXT tools.
I had lent my DMP181 to a friend. After remembering my friend that I needed my compressor back, I am happy to say that I have the little model permanently in the boot of my car - just in case.

works well

Easy to use, no plugging in,just use battery off your cordless tools

One of the best tool bought

Really handy being in the boot of my car

It’s from makita.. of course it works perfectly

Pumps up van tyres, bike tyres and all of the kids inflatables and sports balls up to pressure. Multiple uses and convenient with using already owned Makita batteries.

When i looked at the price I was a bit mmm but then I new it was Makita, All of my equipment is Makita so i had a 18v Battery Angle Grinder so i had a battery already so it was a no brainer.
This inflator is ace and pumps up fast did all of the 16inch tyres in 1/4 of the time compared to my other inflator,
Also bought it to pump up my large Inflatable boat which can't wait to try it should be like a F1 PIT STOP.. the batteries from Makita are always great. This inflator is easy to use and well made worth the investment.

My hubby bought this to check and blow up our car & camper van tyres.
He says it’s a really great help as it’s easy to use, convenient & the fact that it’s cordless is very good.
You do however have to have a charger & battery to use it, which would be better if it came with it.
My husband already had the charger & battery for his same make drill.
All in all it’s a great buy though and helps us oldies out tremendously.

Makita quality

Upgraded from a supermarket car battery powered pump
Already invested in Makita system and had battery, which reduced investment
Excellent quality , very easy to use, can set pressure in bar and psi
Have used on car tyres and for me, game changer for inflation of cycle tyres, so quick and easy .
It comes with an adapter to fit Presta valve. So far inflated 8x car tyres, and reset tubless bike tyres, without recharge

Great for topping up tyres. My BMW tells me to check tyre pressures every couple of weeks; It has a slow leak at the front right and a very over-enthusiastic and fastidious vehicle monitoring computer with tyre sensors. This makes it so easy to check, re-inflate and go. I've got several Makita tools so there is always a battery around and I usually take the pump in the car with me if I'm going on a journey. Its one of those tools that does exactly what its supposed to and does it well.
